My favourite flowers are those found on fruit bushes, like gooseberries or black currents. They may be small and not very flashy colour-wise, with their tiny blooms so faint a white that they're almost the palest green, but they are so intricate. Knowing that they grow into such fat juicy berries bestows upon them a fertility which belies their frailty. The small bell like centre, with such delicate petals and stamen... For me, they would be perfect as a white gold pendant, starkly simple and elegant.

Unsurprisingly then, my garden is full of fruit bushes like gooseberries and black currents. These were plants which I grew with my father, the pair of us gorging on ripe fruit at dusk on moth-flown summer evenings. Raspberries never seem to thrive for me, but red currants and blueberries are coming on nicely. The pride of my garden has to be my gooseberries. I have green, red and even a yellow berry bush, and I'm hoping to make traffic light gooseberry jam in autumn with the red, yellow and green fruit.

I haven't been to Chelsea, but I have been to the Hampton Court Show. It was in the days before digital cameras had taken off so I snapped away with my disposable Kodak. I filled an entire album with photos of the gardens and can even now recall the light and tone of the pictures, if not so much of the scenes. I was astounded at the attention to detail, the way fairy tale fantasies of mature plants could be created for such a fleeting event. My final thumbnail memory of a summer garden show is of a spikey leaved thistle silhouetted against soft plump lavender leaves, all green grey.

I love roses especially the" Duchess of Cornwall" it is a beautiful salmon pink old fashioned full flower rose, it looks so beautiful when out, My grandparents loved roses and as a little girl my Grandad would walk me down his garden and press my nose against the roses to take in the smells, it just brings back great memories of lovely people.
Chelsea- I was lucky enough in 2005 to help build a garden for a garden designer I took 2 weeks off work from my office job and went to London to help in the construction from laying slabs to planting up, I was there until midnight on the sunday and it was opening on the monday, we left in darkness and I never got back in to see the garden in the day or any of the other gardens ! I stood at the gates watching all the people going in to see something I had helped build and I would never see it, only on TV ! It was heart breaking. I have never been able to get back to the show since then.
But at least I fulfiled my dream of working at Chelsea.

My favourite flowers are Peonies. Who could resist those lovely big blowsy blooms? A real treat to look forward to and enjoy as they open as the weather is warming up.

My little garden only has space for a few plants, mostly herbs and my small Peony collection, of course!

Chelsea is always a treat, some fantastically imaginative gardens, with plenty of ideas to take home. The place always seems bigger than it really is because there is so much crammed in. and if you need a change its fun to spot the celebrities. A plus for me is that I can walk home across Batterea Park.

My favourite flowers are fuchsias. My Grandfather had an amazing garden and some of my earliest memories are the hot pink fuchsia's that would dance in the breeze and glitter in the sunlight. Now I'm all grown up and my Grandfather - and his beautiful garden - are no longer with us. I only have a small balcony to play with now, which gets the sun for a few hours each morning, and I really struggle with keeping plants alive...apart from fuchsias which thrive in my tiny urban garden.

I have never been to the Chelsea Flower Show but have always wanted to visit. I really want to take my Mum as she has not been well and I think it would really cheer her up after a particularly tough year. I wonder if they'll have any fuchsias?

Amongst my favourite flowers are Snowdrops and Crocus as they are both an early sign that winter is coming to an end and there will soon be the Spring & Summer to look forward to. Also as they are bulbs that come up on their own - when they are ready to ! It means there is no work involved on my part !
We always try and grow a great variety of sweet-peas in the garden each year as we love the variety of colours, the scent and the opportunity to keep on picking for indoor flowers for many weeks to come.
My wife and I like Chelsea as it is a great opportunity for us to actually spend a day together just looking and taking it all in, with no pressures on time etc.

I have a wild border in my garden for bluebells, vibrant poppies, primroses, foxgloves and hollyhocks. I also love any plants that attract butterflies and bees.
However, my favourites are the poppies and am thrilled that my new beautiful baby granddaughter has been named Poppy.
Chelsea is such a treat for the senses and makes a wonderful day out in amazing surroundings. (It's on my bucket list!)

My favourite flowers follow the seasons. For me the gardening year starts with the delicate looking (but VERY strong!) Snowdrops. Next there is the beautifully scented Bluebells, which was also my daughters first Scarlett charm. After the bluebells my brilliant red Azalea comes into flower. I have had this plant for 22 years buying it for £1.99 from the flower market in Columbia Road in London when I lived nearby. I have many photographs when it flowers with my son standing next to it, starting with him in his nappy to a six foot two man who now towers over this lovely plant! My Azalea has also travelled well, it started off in a pot in my courtyard in London and has ended up planted in my garden in Pembrokeshire. Later the wonderful aquilegias emerge and have seeded themselves all over my garden. During Summer I look forward to my lovely scented and colourful roses that ramble everywhere. I know Autum is around the corner when my sedums are covered in butterflies and the vines are just turning bright gold, orange and red. Finally the cold winter months are brightened up with the yellow flowers specked all over my Winter Jasmine. All my gardening inspiration has come from the Chelsea Flower show and now not only buy and care for my plants but grow lots of lovely flowers I have seen at the show from seed. Luckily because of my good neighbour I was invited to the show when I lived in London. However since I moved to Pembrokeshire this trip has not been possible and it is twelve years since I stood in the long winding queue early in the morning outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea with lots of other gardeners looking forward with anticipation to the fantastic displays and gardens. Although I watch the television coverage and imagine the familiar smells of the pavillions and the fabulous atmosphere it would be so good to be able to be at the show once more.

Despite saying we'll definately make it next year so far we have only managed to enjoy the beauty of Chelsea in 2D on TV from our sofa. It would be fantastic to enjoy the show is full 3D 'smelly vision'.
My favourite flower is that of the buddleia davidii shrub. On closer inspection the flower consists of hundreds of perfect, delicate little bells and has a glorious honey scent that brings clouds of butterflies and bees into our garden - living up to its name as the butterfly bush.
